Head of Cyber Security and IT Operations

Dentro are hiring for a business that are restructuring prior to embarking on a digital transformation journey. Having looked at the programme of work and the transformation journey they know they are in need of a dedicated IT Security Manager, with a knowledge in the risk and governance space as well as the technical capability of Cyber Security. You will be responsible for delivering a robust and secure IT service to the business.

This role provides leadership and strategic oversight for IT and Digital services, shaping the overall strategy and roadmap while ensuring effective governance, compliance, and operational resilience. You will lead a small team and lean on 3rd party suppliers where necessary, supporting the business through a transition and growth agenda. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the IT services operating model, including governance and ensuring cyber security and risk are at the forefront of the the service.

Kay accountabilities exist across: IT budgeting, policy frameworks, audits, risk management, and vendor contracts.

You will have IT Operations reporting to you as well but there is another management layer for you to be more of a strategic leader in that tower of responsibility. They key focus is the Cyber and Risk element. This is an opportunity to shape their security posture and shape a team, as well as live through a significant transformation.

Finally, stakeholder engagement is central to success, your interactions will be across the business and in to execs as well as heads of departments and users.
